The checker on this site sends nothing

The “Try it” box on the home page runs entirely in your browser. The text you paste is compared locally, the record entries are built locally, and none of it is transmitted to Sovasta or anyone else. Close the tab and it is gone.

This is a consequence of how it is built, not a promise added on top: the comparison is plain arithmetic over the two pieces of text, so there is nowhere else for them to go.

What is not built yet

Sovasta Compass is described as watching Sovasta conversations automatically. That part does not exist today. No conversation is mirrored anywhere, because the service that would receive it has not been built. When it is, this page will change before it is switched on, and it will say exactly what is sent.

We would rather tell you what is missing than let an unbuilt feature sit here sounding like a live one.

What we do receive

Your language choice is kept in your own browser’s storage. It never reaches us.

What the records will contain, when they exist

The planned record keeps fingerprints, not text. For each checked turn it stores a drift number, a verdict, and a one-way hash of the request and the answer. Storing the conversation text itself will be off by default, and turning it on will be your explicit choice, recorded as such.

Deleting your data

There is nothing on our side to delete from the in-browser checker. To remove your Sovasta account and the identity data attached to it, use the account controls at hub.sovetrust.com.
