Four steps, every turn
Compass sits beside the conversation rather than inside it. It never answers for the model; it checks what the model said.
Hold the request
Your first message is read once and kept as the thing to measure against — the goal, the limits, and the format you asked for.
Measure the distance
Each answer is compared with that request on two axes at once: the words you used, and the meaning behind them. One number comes out.
Bring it back
Close enough, and nothing happens. Drifting, and Compass adds a short reminder of the original request. Far off, and it asks for the answer again.
Leave a record
Every check is written down and chained to the one before it, so a later edit to the history is visible rather than silent.
